11 Facts About Me:

  1. I love travelling, visiting and exploring ! Whether it be a different country, town or small village. The best place I've been to was Paris two years ago and i'd love to go back, I also really want to visit America and Australia.
  2. I have created a bucket list that so far has 54 things on it and I am always adding to it.
  3. I love food! Favorites of mine are Chinese takeaways, KFC and Sunday dinners! yum.
  4. I have lived in the same house and town my whole life and even though i'm starting to appreciate it more now i'm growing up, I still want to move away even if it's not far
  5. My best friend lives nearly 2 hours away from me and I hate that I don't get to see her that often, but we talk practically every day. We also met on the good old internet! Tumblr to be precise..
  6. I started dancing at the age of 2 right up to the age of 12 and then on and off until I was 16. I did Ballet, Tap, Modern and Street dance and sometimes wish I'd never quit it.
  7. I am double jointed and can do this strange thing with me arms (kind of hard to explain it on here, without showing you guys, but yeah!)
  8. I love reading books and  I am thinking of buying a Kindle soon!
  9. My favorite clothing shop is H&M, if I had enough money I think i'd buy everything!
  10. I have a small family and don't often see many of them, but my Grandparents live on the same street as me so I always get to see them, which I love.
  11. When I was younger I wanted to be many different jobs when I grew up, these included being an author, a professional dancer and a hairdresser. Now that i'm 18, I have no idea what I want to do!

11 Questions for me:

  1. What's your favorite dessert? I have to admit i'm a bit of a sweet tooth so I can't pick just one all time fave! So i'll narrow it down to my top 3! Which are Pancakes, Brownies and Cheescake. (My all time fave would probably be all of those three on one plate ;) )
  2. If you had to leave the house with only one beauty product on, what would it be? Ahh! that's really hard, but probably Mascara!
  3. Why did you decide to do blogging? I'd seen quite a few blogs and liked the idea of it, I also wanted a way to express myself and just ramble on about the things I enjoy, like and my life!
  4. What's the first thing on your "bucket list"? Well as I mentioned earlier I have a long bucket list and it's not written in order, but right at the top is "To fall in love".
  5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I'd love to live in America or Paris. However more realistically i'd live to move to the South of England.
  6. What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? To snuggle up in a warm bed or on the sofa with a nice blanket and a cup of tea! Either reading a book, watching a TV programme, watching a film or simply looking out at the cold wet rain and feeling cosy!
  7. What do you think is your best feature? I get the most compliments on my eyes, so i'd say that.
  8. What weather do you prefer? I love summer, so it'd have to be the hot sunshine! Although I love summer nights when it's cooled down a bit. So just when it's warm.
  9. What's your favorite type of fragrance scent (sweet, fresh, fruity, musky, etc.)? I quite like fruit scents.
  10. How did you meet your best friend? I touched on this a little earlier, but I might as well explain the full story here. We were both following each other on Tumblr and she'd posted that she'd got a Blackberry and wrote out her pin, so I decided to add her. I was totally expecting that we'd speak for a day and the end up deleting each other, but I think that first day we spoke non stop, we just hit it off straight away and it was unreal to find out how much we had in common.  I then after 9 months I finally met up her and the rest is history!
  11. Do you prefer watching TV or reading a book? This is hard because I enjoy both, so can't pick one over the other.

Hello there! :)

Just thought i'd share a couple of products that I have been enjoying using recently. I've been looking for some good skin care that works well for my skin for a couple of months now, but have disappointed with everything that I've tried, this was until I discovered these two products! First of all this is the Olay essentials smoothing face scrub for normal/dry skin which I bought from Superdrug and can be found here and it does what it says on the bottle! I wet my skin and massage the scrub in circular motions into my skin and then wash off with warm water and as cliche as it sounds it does leave my skin feeling like a baby's bottom!

The next product I bought was Nivea Visage pure and natural cleansing lotion which was again from Superdrug and can be found here The consistency of the lotion is really nice and it almost feels like its cooling my skin when I put it on, it has a nice scent and leaves my skin feeling soft just like the previous face scrub.

The final product I bought was the Arora Body scrub in the fragrance Pomegranate Passion which can be bought at Superdrug here The product can also be bought in Sweet Vanilla, Wild Berry, Coconut, Chocolate Espresso and  Pink Grapefruit, but after smelling them all (yes I actually stood in the shop for a good 5-10 minutes smelling them) I personally found the pomegranate to smell the best. I was really impressed with the body scrub as not only did it smell lovely but it did it's job! Leaving my skin soft and lightly fragranced, perfect!

Sales, sales, sales!

Hello there!

Truth be told i'm abit of a bargain hunter who's always on the look out for a good sale. I blame my mother, whenever I go shopping with her she rushes straight over to the sale rack before looking at anything else and I've realised this is what i'm starting to do! I work in the center of my town so I have good access to shops five days of the week, however I have an hour for dinner and after I have bought and ate my food, there simply isn't enough time to look around the shops. Hallelujah for online shopping! I've been scanning around the sites and have found some real cheap beauties that I thought I would share with you guys, now roll on pay day!

Finally posting!

Hello! Long time no speak..

There's been a number of reasons why I haven't posted anything on here in the past few months. I've recently finished Sixth Form and entered the world of work! You're looking at a full time 9-5 apprentice right here ;) My life has changed a lot since I last updated this, back in April and i'm still adjusting to the change in lifestyle. After spending the last two years at Sixth Form, i'm used to late starts and half days, now i'm working five days a week for at least eight hours and learning to appreciate weekends much more. It might not seem a big thing to some people, but I've not been in the right frame of mind lately and if i'm honest, I've been one big miserable mess for the past week, (thank the lord, for mothers!) but i'm trying to look at the positives and start to enjoy myself more! So here we go! I'm back to this blog and back to posting more, fingers crossed i'll stick to my word!

I recently made a trip to Asda where I picked up the July edition of Cosmopolitan, now i'm not usually one for buying magazines, call me a cheap skate but surely i'm not the only one who thinks they can be way overpriced for what you actually get? However, this magazine caught my eye, a free pair of sunglasses! There was three to choose from, leopard print, aviator style and the black ones that I got. (Here's hoping England starts to get some sunshine soon!) Not only did the magazine come with sunglasses, it also came with a packet of mentos chewing gum - not to my taste, but i'm sure they will to other people. After flicking through the pages, to my pleasant surprise there was yet more freebies inside. Two sachets, one was Pantene pro-v conditioner and the other was Palmers cocoa butter formula. Being eager to try them out, I took a shower that evening and used the both of them, the conditioner left my hair feeling soft and had a smell of well.. conditioner (that may sound weird, but think of how you'd expect conditioner to smell like and you'll know what I mean). I then used the body butter which had a lovely fragrance of cocoa (hence the name of it) It wasn't too over powering just nice and subtle and my skin felt great after, so i'm most certainly thinking of purchasing this some time soon.

Overall, I didn't do to bad, and i'll be keeping an eye open for things like this in the future.
